Aikido Sword

 

Aikido is based on sword technique and the fighting arts of the samurai. Aikido practice cannot be complete without understanding of sword work. This course introduces the essential sword basics for the practice of aikido.

This introductory course covers:

-       Basic sword cuts and footwork

-       8 directional cutting method

-       Evading of sword cuts

-       Basic aikido techniques countering a sword cut
